Summer Drinks!

With the sun peeking out here in Washington i'm getting in the mood for some cooling summer drinks.
Recently I have found some really great recipes that I can't wait to try!
Champagne Grapefruit Mojito from Style Me Pretty Living
I am for sure going to make these mojitos over the weekend for my friends! I love how different they are with the champagne and grapefruit!

THESE non alcoholic Watermelon drinks look refreshing and perfect for Watermelon season!
DIY Starbucks drinks!

And last but not least I am very excited about these recipes for DIY Starbucks drinks. Don't get me wrong I love going out to grab a coffee and I will admit that I do it frequently but the cost can really add up! I am definitely saving this recipe for a day I can save some money and enjoy a Frappuccino at home!

A "Hard Boiled" Egg

Recently I've discovered that baking "Hard Boiled" eggs is much easier and simpler than dragging out the old pot and leaving it on the burner for far too long. I love the simplicity in popping these eggs in the oven and waiting a short period of time for them to come out perfectly cooked without banging into each other in the pot while boiling, leaving them cracked. Follow these simple steps to come out with the perfect eggs.

  • Place your eggs in a glass container or individually in a muffin pan
  • Preheat the oven to 320F degrees
  • Gently place the pan into the oven and let them cook for 30 minutes
  • CAREFULLY remove eggs from the oven (they will be hot & golden brown)
  • Fill your bowl with ice and water
  • Wait unit eggs are cool enough to place gently in ice water for 10 minutes and the peeling process will be much easier

Now you are ready to eat or make something out of your lovely "hard boiled eggs"

I chose to make deviled eggs . . .

Enjoy!
